Summary
We are looking for a motivated and forward-thinkingPhysiotherapistto join ourAcute Medicine team. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual eager to enhance both their clinical expertise and leadership skills within a supportive and dynamic environment.
OurPhysiotherapy Departmentis committed to advancing the role of physiotherapy in acute care. Under the mentorship of experienced Band 7's, you will receive strong guidance, career development opportunities, and a culture that fosters excellence, innovation, and continuous professional development (CPD).
The team together covers our Emergency department, SDEC areas and our Acute Medical Units (AMU). Working closely with our Occupational Therapy colleagues across all areas.
As asenior clinician, you will play a key role in:
• Supervising, educating, and appraising physiotherapists, support staff, and students.
• Leading and contributing to service development, ensuring high-quality patient care and innovation in practice.

• Deliver a high-quality physiotherapy service by assessing and treating patients with complex presentations
• Supervise and mentor newly qualified physiotherapists, technicians, assistants, and students while contributing to the education of multidisciplinary team (MDT) staff
• Engage in continuous professional development (CPD) and actively participate in departmental activities
• Take part in the weekend and on-call service as required
• Weekend working commitments will be determined based on service demands
