Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated Cleaners to join our team in the Woodley area of Stockport. (SK6) The successful candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy creating tidy, welcoming environments. A valid driving license and good communication skills are desirable to facilitate smooth operations and effective customer interactions.
Responsibilities
Perform cleaning duties across designated areas, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards of hygiene
Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and appropriately
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Maintain a clean and organised storage of cleaning materials and equipment
Interact courteously with clients or staff, providing excellent customer service when required
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all cleaning activities
Requirements
Previous experience in cleaning or related roles is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Good communication skills in English, both written and verbal
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Valid driving license is preferred to facilitate travel between sites if necessary
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Ability to work flexibly according to scheduled shifts
