Exciting Opportunity: Vehicle Technician in Cardiff

Our client, a well-established franchise-approved dealership based in Cardiff, is seeking a highly motivated Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. Key Duties of the Vehicle Technician role:

- Conduct fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs according to manufacturer standards.
- Accurately diagnose vehicle faults and communicate findings to the Service Manager.
- Ensure all work complies with quality procedures laid down by our client and the franchise.
- Maintain vehicle safety, reliability, and performance throughout all servicing processes.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.
- Support team objectives and work towards set targets for customer satisfaction and workshop efficiency.
- (Optional but advantageous) Experience working on Stellantis vehicles.

Candidate Specification:

- Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
- Ideally 1-2 years' workshop experience post-qualification.
- Demonstrates a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail.
- Holds a valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
- A committed team player who can produce quality work in a busy dealership environment.
- Motivated to develop skills further, especially in hybrid and electric vehicle technology.
- Experience with Stellantis vehicles is desirable but not essential.
