The Governing Board of Bare Trees Primary School is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Lower KS2 Teacher to join our team on a part time basis. This is a fixed term position within our vibrant and inclusive school community to the end of the academic year.

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Is an excellent classroom practitioner with proven experience of teaching in Year 3 (and ideally a broader understanding of the primary phase);
  • Is highly-motivated and will develop an engaging, imaginative, and inclusive learning environment in which all pupils can thrive;
  • Will be an effective team member with high expectations of themselves and their pupils, demonstrating a strong commitment to raising achievement for all;
  • Works effectively as part of a collaborative and supportive team, contributing positively to whole-school development
  • Has a commitment and drive to improve outcomes for all pupils including those who are disadvantaged;
  • Has up-to-date knowledge of effective teaching and learning strategies, and can confidently deliver adaptive teaching for a wide range of needs;
  • Brings experience of supporting EAL learners and ensuring every child can access the curriculum successfully;
  • Is committed to their own professional development
  • Is eager to contribute to the wider life of the school and model the values of Bare Trees Primary School.
