Job Description - Warehouse Operative
Location: Sittingbounre
Hours: Day shifts, Monday to Friday 8am till 5pm
Contract: Full-time
Hourly Rate: £12.50 per hour
Role Overview:We are looking for a reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team in a fast-moving warehouse environment. The role will involve unloading and loading trailers across multiple contracts, picking stock using pump trucks and by hand, and supporting the overall warehouse operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely unload and load trailers for a variety of customer contracts.
- Pick stock accurately using pump trucks and manual handling.
- Prepare and stage goods for dispatch.
- Assist with general warehouse duties to ensure smooth operations.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential.
- Ability to use pump trucks and carry out manual handling tasks.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy in order picking.
- Flexibility to adapt to different workloads and shift times.
- Team player with a positive and proactive approach.
