Hours of work:LSA: Mon/Tue/Wed/Friday 8.45am to 3.15pm with half hour unpaid lunch + Thursday 1:00pm to 3:15pm = 24.25 hours per week - term time only, plus INSET Days = 44.85 paid weeks. Actual salary: £14,650.MDSA: Mon to Friday 12:30pm to 1:00pm = 2.5 hours per week - term time only. Actual salary: £1,382.00.Type of Contract: Temporary Fixed Term until 31st December 2026Ideally we are looking for someone who can work 5 days per week, but we’re willing to be flexible and hear from candidates who are interested in the role, but would like to discuss different working hours. If this is the case, please provide details on your application.We are looking for a SEN LSA and MDSA who is a well-qualified, enthusiastic person who is able to skilfully combine the roles of LSA and MDSA. You’ll need to:
• Work under the direction of the senior leadership team, but also use your own initiative to make things happen, be creative and problem solve
• Have good literacy, numeracy and IT skills
• Have experience of working with primary age and SEN children
• Deliver effective learning interventions to SEN children using structured teaching and challenging learning activities.
• Manage behaviour through a positive, inclusive ethos
• Maintain confidentiality inside and outside the workplace
• Be kind, calm and resilient
• Be imaginative, creative and fun!
