We are looking for a Ward Clerk to join the Children's Ward Clerk team in Colchester Hospital. The role will involve working with experienced ward clerks within Children's Services.
Our ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and a friendly manner as you will be communicating with a wide variety of people. You will be hard working, highly motivated and have the ability to work on your own initiative.
This is fixed term/secondment post until 31st March 2026.
Consistent provision of higher level, comprehensive and efficient secretarial and administrative support. To utilise and incorporate the required technology/hospital systems including Big Hand/PAS/Evolve/Lorenzo and any other new technology or system(s) that are introduced including demand/capacity tools.
To provide a role in the smooth organisation of the department and an advanced secretarial/administration service to the medical teams. Using own initiative, managing, prioritising, planning and organising own time using extensive knowledge, skills and experience.
