Summary
About You Were looking for someone who: Has strong organisational and communication skills Is confident using Microsoft Office and digital systems Enjoys working with others and independently and supporting a busy team Has good attention to detail and a proactive approach Is keen to learn and develop within an NHS environment 1. Provide high quality administrative and project support to the network team. 2. Answer all enquiries from internal and external stakeholders courteously and efficiently, ensuring messages are passed to the relevant people. 3. Arrange meetings or events, liaising with other colleagues as appropriate to set a mutually convenient time/date. This may include the booking/arranging of a suitable venue, equipment, and refreshments. Coordinating papers as required. 4. Organise and prioritise diary appointments, re-arranging, when necessary, to take account of more urgent meetings/appointments as they arise, informing the manager(s) of any new, changes and urgent appointments. 5. Ensure meeting agendas and supporting paperwork are circulated to the relevant individuals in good time. Essential NVQ Level 3 in Business Admin or equivalent level of experienceLiteracy and numeracy skills demonstrable to GCSE pass level or equivalent standardPrevious experience and knowledge of administrative procedures and setting up new processes.Able to use judgement to make decisions to solve problems/enquiries some of which are non-routine and not straight-forwardKnowledge and experience of secretarial or administrative proceduresTo demonstrate a good understanding of the importance of confidentiality and data protection. Previous admin experience is essential in this well-established complex network, and understanding of healthcare would be preferred but attitude and willingness to grow are just as important. Our workplans are developed with commissioners, ICBs and providers to improve outcomes for patients and support sustainable critical care services. Ability to travel/drive across the South East of England will be essential due to the nature of the network.
