Summary
These roles are suited to experienced, professionally qualified clinicians who want to influence patient pathways and effect change across the SE and potentially nationally. These roles could be undertaken as a stand alone part time role within the post holders speciality or as an addition to an existing substantive role within a Strategic Network Trust enabling the successful applicant to continue in their clinical role whilst influencing patient care at a regional / national level. The role will responsible to the ODN manager and will work with teams across the region to deliver changes required. Job responsibilities: To provide specialist leadership across the network as a source of expertise, advice, and knowledge for patients, families, and healthcare professionalsLead the strategic and operational development of coherent and effective network arrangements.In partnership with the Network Educator, play a key role in delivering education and training for speciality areas within the Strategic Network as well as taking a lead on promoting research.Accountable for a programme of work that meets national and local priorities, providing recommendations to commissioners focused on improving population health, care quality, and system value.Lead on user engagement and participation in service planning and risk managementPromote family-centred care within the Strategic Network and support the development and functioning of local carer/family/support groups.The successful candidate will be a highly effective change agent, have a reputation as a clinical expert in their field with a track record of working with multiple organisations at different levels.
