Our client operates the city's waterfront event campus- the interconnected M&S Bank Arena and Exhibition Centre Liverpool as well as ticketing agency Ticket Quarter and the Pullman Liverpool Hotel.Playing a leading role in shining a spotlight on Liverpool, they have successfully staged a wide array of national and international events, from shows and conventions, business gatherings to exhibitions, developing their offer over the last decade to that of a world-class provider of venue and event services.

They are currently looking for a Cleaning Operative to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the campus through the day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience of cleaning operations in a fast-paced, commercial environment, ideally within the events industry, along with experience of manual handling, COSHH regulations, a good understanding of Health and Safety and a good understanding of recycling and sustainable practices.

Main Duties of this Role Include:

- Follow the established cleaning schedules for all designated areas across our client's campus.

- Clean all assigned areas within allocated timeframes, meeting required standards and signing off each area using the Halo system.

- Demonstrate full working knowledge of all cleaning equipment, tools, and materials.

- Use, handle, and store all equipment safely and correctly at all times.

- Comply with COSHH regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.

- Report any defects or faulty equipment promptly via the Halo system.

- Ensure all areas are fully stocked with necessary supplies at all times.

- Work resourcefully to minimise consumable waste wherever possible.

- Carry out event cleaning duties as required, ensuring all event spaces are maintained to the highest standards.

- Undertake internal and external window cleaning across the campus.

- Perform cleaning of external building cladding as required.
