We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team at Scarborough TEC.
About the role
We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic, reliable and all-round Cleaner to help keep our college looking its best. You’ll be part of the behind-the-scenes magic that ensures students, staff and visitors walk into a clean, safe and welcoming environment every single day. Hours can be 05.30am- 08.30am or 16.00-19.00 (Monday to Friday).
Where You’ll Work:
You will help care for a variety of areas including:
Main college buildings
The college house
Halls of residence
Every day is a little different, and you’ll get to know the campus like the back of your hand!
What you will be doing:
You will be keeping our learning and living spaces clean, tidy and inviting.
Using cleaning supplies safely and storing them properly. Reporting any maintenance issues and bringing a positive attitude that makes the team even better.
What Makes You a Great Fit:
Previous cleaning experience is a bonus, but a great attitude is even better. Good timekeeping and reliability with a strong attention to detail — you notice the little things. The ability to work independently and enjoy being part of a friendly team. You will need to be flexibility, positivity and a smile that brightens the day.
