We are looking to appoint an organised and proactive Attendance and Safeguarding Officer to support the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) in ensuring the safety, welfare and attendance of students in our school.
Hours for this post are 08:00 – 16:00 Monday to Friday, term time only (including 5 inset days).
The successful candidate will:
• Have a good standard of education
• Be confident using a range of IT packages
• Bring a warm and professional approach to all interactions
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail
• Be able to work successfully with staff, students, families and external agencies
• Have a positive, adaptable mindset, along with the ability to remain calm, organised and focused in a busy environment
• Ideally have experience of working in a similar or equivalent safeguarding role.
