Crynodeb
We are looking for a motivated and driven individual to join the respiratory physiology team to promote clinical excellence in respiratory and sleep diagnostics.
The role will consist of performance routine and specialised lung function tests to ARTP standards for all clinical and research patients. Performance and interpretation of a range of sleep diagnostics and resultant setup of patients up on appropriate domiciliary therapy.
Participation in the training and development of all junior members of the department and external students within the respiratory physiology team is must. We are constantly looking to improve and stay up to date across all areas of clinical practice so an eye for detail is essential.
The successful candidate will be expected to be able to independently run all routine lung function and sleep clinics independently, as well as providing support and training to all junior members of the team. This includes supervision of them undertaking professional qualifications
We are a dynamic service, working across a range of complex patient groups, always looking to improve and develop so assessment and implementation of new equipment and testing procedures will also be required.
Within the respiratory physiology team we provide complex testing such as CPET and provision the of non-invasive ventilation (NIV) support and training will be given in these area but it is expected for the successful candidate to become part of the team delivering these services.
