M Main Tasks To be part of the clinical team working within the Childrens outpatient department and other paediatric settings. Undertake all defined duties required. To work without direct supervision using own initiative within the level of competency set down for this post. To ensure that patient privacy and dignity are respected at all times To support and reassure patients during clinical procedures or treatment. Ensure that patient care is optimised by communicating relevant information in a timely and accurate fashion. Promote the professional image of the Trust by maintaining at all times a neat appearance and helpful manner, paying particular attention to the need to deliver high standards of care, in accordance with the Trusts policy quality standards and the Patients Charter. Ensure that at all times the policies and working practices of the Trust are observed particularly in relation to confidentiality. To attend unit and Multidisciplinary Team meetings as required. Ensure that all queries are attended to as soon as possible, answering the telephone efficiently, conveying any messages to the appropriate personnel.
