Summary
student work placement provision within our South Wales Business School. The role will be based within the Faculty’s Administration Team and it will involve working with a range of industry links, students and academic/professional support staff in USW.
The position is based at the Pontypridd Campus of the University of South Wales, with the expectation of working across multiple campuses. As this role will involve connecting with new and existing industry links, there will be some travel outside of office hours where connections
need to be made offline or at events. It will provide you with a role where you can utilise your range of business development, communication, organisation and data management skills.
Applicants for the post should be able to demonstrate experience of working in a role related to the provision of work experience, placements and recruitment; have good labour market knowledge; experience of business and student engagement; and a good understanding of the
issues related to students and graduates seeking work experience / employment.
This is a full time, fixed term for 2 years post. Benefits on offer include 35 days annual leave, plus bank holidays and closure days, family friendly policies and generous pension scheme.
The university is currently operating a hybrid-model of working. However, the successful candidate would be expected to work on campus for part of the week.
