As Resident Medical Officer, you’ll play a crucial role providing On Call cover for Cygnet Hospital Oldbury. This is our 27 bed state-of-the-art PICU & Acute hospital for women, in the West Midlands.
The RMO is the Doctor covering On Calls between 5pm and 9am on weekdays and weekends. Generally the RMO will work on a rota of 4 days on / 3 days off every week.
Advice and guidance is available from the Consultants On Call and weekly supervision will be offered within the above hours.

We are looking for someone who is...
Fully GMC registered & MBBS (or equivalent) qualified
An excellent clinical decision maker, with sound judgement, the ability to manage risk & know when to ask for help
Preferably experienced in Psychiatry
Able to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
A first-rate communicator who can interview, assess & treat patients & write clear, comprehensive medical notes
