About the role
As the Admin Officer your manager will be our Support Team Supervisor. You will work 37 hours a week on a permanent basis, working flexibly in the Vico Homes operating area based at our Head Office in Castleford.
As the Admin Officer you will be responsible for a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the Major Works team back-office processes run smoothly.
What you’ll do
*Provide comprehensive administrative support, including accurate record‑keeping, report writing, minute taking and general office duties.
*Act as the first point of contact for customers, tradespeople and colleagues, resolving enquiries with professionalism and confidence.
*Distribute work orders and ensure contractors and tradespeople have the necessary information to deliver services safely and effectively.
*Maintain and update business systems and service documentation to support operational activities and performance targets.
*Collaborate with management, colleagues and external partners to overcome challenges and contribute to an efficient, high‑quality service delivery.
What we’re looking for
*You will hold a Level 2 qualification on the Regulated Qualifications Framework, such as GCSEs (three or more at grades 9–4/A–C), or an equivalent Award, Certificate, or Diploma
*You bring proven experience in office administration or a housing‑related field, demonstrating your ability to support operational teams effectively
*Clear verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to liaise confidently with colleagues, contractors and customers while producing clear and accurate documentation
