Love a good team hustle? Fancy being the unsung hero of mealtimes?
If you’ve ever taken pride in a job well done, enjoyed seeing things sparkle, or secretly love the rhythm of a busy kitchen, we want you. This isn’t about fame or glory - it’s about being the glue that keeps the kitchen (and our care home) running smoothly. Every plate you wash, every countertop you wipe, every perfectly timed meal - it all matters.
You’ll be part of a team that makes our home feel warm, welcoming, and well-fed. The residents notice the little things: a hot meal served on time, a clean and safe kitchen, the calm behind the chaos. And that’s where you come in. You’re the quiet force that makes it all possible…
What you'll be doing:
Keeping the kitchen spotless, safe, and humming along like a well-oiled machine.
Helping the cook with food prep and serving meals – timing is everything!
Washing up, clearing down, and staying ahead of the next mealtime – think of it as a slightly competitive sport.
Rotating stock in fridges, freezers, vegetable stores, and cupboards to help minimise waste (bonus points if you can make tins and packets look Instagram-worthy).
Being a key part of a team that puts people first, with smiles, humour, and a sense of pride in every task.
Who you are:
Reliable, hardworking, and proud of a job done properly.
A team player who understands that care isn’t just what’s seen - it’s what’s felt.
Happy to roll up your sleeves, whether it’s scrubbing, chopping, or keeping everything ticking along.
Flexible, upbeat, and ready to dive into the hustle of a busy kitchen.
No experience? No worries! Bring the right attitude, and we’ll show you the ropes.
We can offer you:
A supportive team who understands the power of what happens in the kitchen.
Fully paid training and plenty of career progression opportunities
Induction programme with a dedicated mentor to help you feel supported and comfortable in your new role
Free DBS check and auto-enrolment pension
The use of ‘Flex Earn’ enabling you to access wages earnt in advance of pay day, viewing earnt wages in real time
Blue Light Card eligibility – discounts on retail, eating out, and more!
Free meals provided when working long shifts
