The Role
We’re recruiting for a Senior Delivery Manager here at Justice Digital, to be part of our warm and collaborative End User Compute Services (EUCS) team.
This role aligns against Senior Delivery Manager from the Government Digital and Data Framework
The EUCS team is part of Technology Services in Justice Digital, a modern and diverse workplace that promotes a healthy work-life balance and flexible working options. They design, deliver and support the core IT infrastructure and systems that enable End User Compute Services and line of business applications for over 100,000 Ministry of Justice users across over 800 locations.
The Senior Delivery Manager role sits within Technology Services and MoJ Digital delivery profession and is responsible for enabling the effective delivery of complex, high-risk digital services and products.
Senior Delivery Managers provide leadership and support to multiple delivery teams, manage risks and dependencies, and help teams maintain focus and momentum. You will be responsible for building team capability, promoting agile practices, and influencing senior stakeholders to create a culture of continuous improvement.
You’ll also be an active member of Justice Digital’s delivery management community contributing through mentoring, coaching, and sharing expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Delivery Manager, you’ll be accountable for effective delivery of complex, high-risk products and services and will have strong communication skills and engage senior stakeholders.
You’ll have more experience across a range of products and services, throughout the entire lifecycle, and have greater responsibility and accountability as the main point of escalation. You’ll coach and mentor other delivery managers at different levels.
You’ll be experienced in leading multidisciplinary teams, supporting and continuously improving products of significant scale and complexity.
You’ll be responsible for building, maintaining and motivating teams; protect the team and make sure the team collaborates to focus on what is most important.
You’ll coach team members and facilitate a culture of continuous improvement in the team. You will proactively manage dependencies and risks to overcome obstacles to delivery.
You’ll promote agile and lean practices and help teams adopt the most appropriate tools and techniques.
You’ll communicate effectively with stakeholders across technical and non-technical boundaries.
You’ll influence decisions and lead change that improves delivery outcomes.
You’ll advocate for professional development and contribute to the wider delivery community.
You’ll actively contribute to the wider delivery management community in Technology Services and Justice Digital, sharing knowledge, offering and receiving coaching, and building strong peer connections through informal support networks.

Proven experience in a Delivery Manager role.
You can help teams maintain a focus on delivery whilst also solving issues and unblocking problems to achieve the best outcomes.
Agile and Lean practices
You have deep knowledge of, and lead on, a range of Agile and Lean tools and techniques, with an ability to coach within and outside of the team, represent and be an advocate for these tools and techniques, be innovative and ensure you keep up to date with the latest trends.
You have situational awareness of what each in the team and outside is working on and ability to ensure that working practices are iterated to achieve effective delivery.
