Our Admin Officers play a critical role, providing excellent administrative support and customer service to court users, judiciary and management.

HM Courts & Tribunals Service (HMCTS) is responsible for the administration of criminal, civil and family Courts and Tribunals in England and Wales. Your role

Administrative staff are responsible for the checking and completion of court hearing results and production of court orders and notices using digital case files.

Other duties will include reviewing and actioning of data reports and replying to deadlines on behalf of the region, and answering queries whether over the phone, or email from the judiciary, colleagues, legal professionals, other criminal justice agencies, or the public.

You will be assigned to teams to carry out a variety of general administrative duties to progress cases through the court/tribunal system or provide support to other functions within HMCTS.

Supporting the Regional Compliance and Data Quality Support Officer in their duties to deliver an enhanced front-line assurance model embedded across the Region.

Your skills and experience

With a friendly and approachable manner, you’ll have excellent attention to detail and good written and verbal communication skills. You have a desire to deliver proactive and effective support to customers by phone and email. You’ll be skilled in organising your time, prioritising efficiently, able to multi-task and adapt to using various software packages. You’ll enjoy working in a busy environment and helping court users navigate the justice system.
