Location: St Joseph & St Bede RC Primary
Salary: Grade 2 scp 03-04 Actual Salary £17,538 - £17,816 (£24,796- £25,185 FTE)
Term of Contract: Fixed term until 31st August 2026 (working 1:1 with a child)
Working pattern: Term Time Only, Mon-Fri
Hours per week: Part Time 30 hours per week
Start date: Estimated January 2026
St Joseph & St Bede RC Primary School are currently seeking a Pupil Support Assistant 1:1, This is an exciting opportunity to join the Trust at the beginning of a journey of transition, development, and growth within the multi-academy trust
Duties include:
- Provide one-to-one or small group support to SEN pupils, promoting independence, self-esteem, and inclusion.
- Assist with implementing individual education and support plans, adapting activities to meet pupils’ needs.
- Use a range of resources and learning environments, both inside and outside the classroom, to support pupil development.
- Monitor, record, and report on pupil progress and wellbeing, raising concerns as appropriate.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure consistent support and effective interventions.
- Support positive behaviour and social interaction in line with school policies and safeguarding requirements.
