You will be responsible for planning and executing dynamic Science lessons that focus on core principles and hands-on practical skills. Your presence will ensure that curiosity remains high and students stay on track to hit their GCSE targets.
Core Responsibilities-
Deliver Exceptional Lessons: Teach single or combined sciences across KS3 and KS4, ensuring the curriculum is accessible and challenging for all learners.

Evaluate Student Progress: Provide clear, constructive feedback that helps students master complex scientific theories and exam techniques.

Ensure Laboratory Safety: Maintain an inspiring and safe classroom environment, strictly adhering to CLEAPSS health and safety procedures during practical experiments.

Collaborate Effectively: Work closely with science technicians and fellow teachers to ensure all practical resources are prepared and learning goals are met.

Uphold School Protocols: Maintain high standards of behavior management and safeguarding, integrating seamlessly into the Blackburn school community.

QTS Status: Mandatory, along with a relevant degree in a Science-related field.

Proven Success: Experience teaching Science at both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE) levels.
