The role in a nutshell
We are seeking to recruit an outstanding enthusiastic and dedicated Attendance and Welfare Officer. The ideal candidate will be joining an established Trust Attendance and Welfare Team, supporting children and families in ensuring they are able to attend school every day.
The candidate
You will be passionate and determined to work with our pupils and families, by offering support and guidance to ensure children can/do attend school every day. Working in collaboration, sharing best practice and supporting the Welfare & Attendance Deputy, Lead, Principals, and stakeholders across the trust ensures our aims are achieved and ultimately provide the best for our children and their families. The Attendance and Welfare Officer has a pivotal role working with each academy, recognising the challenges and providing the necessary support in relation to attendance and welfare. Must hold a full clean driving licence and have access to a car. Must be willing to transport pupils in their own vehicle when appropriate.
