Summary

We are looking for a Social Worker to join our Children with Disabilities Team.

This role requires a Social Work Qualification with a minimum of 3 years post qualified experience in Frontline and assessment work.

About the team

The team works on a range of different referrals, making informed decisions on whether a child needs our service or whether they are able to use mainstream services. The team is also responsible for creating plans for Children in Need, Child Protection, and Looked After Children that make sure the child's needs are being met by everyone caring for and working with them. They will also take part in essential visits to each child and their families on a regular basis, ensuring that they have the correct provisions in place in order to communicate effectively with the child and their families.

About you

Knowledge and experience working within a Frontline Team such as Child protection and Referral and assessment is essential for this role. You will also hold a degree within Social Work (Degree/DipSW/CQSW) As well as 3 years post qualifying experience.
