Resident Hotels is seeking an enthusiastic Sales & Groups Executive to join our growing team, creating personalised experiences to mirror our guests’ onsite experience. The Sales & Groups Executive will act as an Ambassador of The Resident & Four Points Flex by Sherton Brands.

Resident Hotels is a specialist Hotel Management Company, that manages two hotel brands; The Resident in London, Edinburgh and Liverpool and Marriott International's Four Points Flex by Sheraton brand in Cardiff, Newcastle, Dundee and Edinburgh.

In this role, you will work within current business strategies, adapting to market trends and identifying new opportunities. You’ll maintain up-to-date SWOT analyses for each market or hotel, respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, and prepare contracts in line with business and pricing conditions. The position involves submitting group bookings, contracts, and RFP proposals on time, managing communications with agencies, groups, and corporate clients, and handling all administrative tasks for the group department, including invoices, payments, and rooming lists. You will also communicate new activities to hotels, organize and conduct show rounds for clients, and collaborate with other departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You’ll manage third-party sales platforms, organize and attend promotional events, produce accurate sales reports, and support the Sales Manager in implementing strategies. Maintaining and responding to all sales-related mailboxes in line with brand standards is also a key responsibility.

We are looking for a Sales & Groups Execuitve who has:

  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to respond to a range of different work situations.
  • Ability to work under pressure and under own initiative.
  • Sales and reservations experience with a demonstratable track record in hospitality
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point)
  • Knowledge of Opera Cloud PMS (preferred – not required)
  • Knowledge of GDS Channels (preferred HotelREZ but not required)
  • Knowledge of platforms such as Lanyon, Cvent, Venue Directory, etc.
