Summary
Plans and implements sales strategies to increase the sales of materials and services offered by the business, in line with company objectives and sales targets.
Maintains and manages accounts of existing customers while actively identifying, developing, and securing new customer accounts.
Liaises with senior staff and management to determine customer requirements, pricing strategies, and sales priorities.
Conducts market research and customer analysis to assess demand, customer feedback, and competitor activity, and uses findings to improve sales performance.
Compiles, monitors, and analyses sales data and customer information, preparing regular reports and recommendations for management.
Handles customer enquiries, quotations, negotiations, and ongoing account support to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Utilises company-provided computer systems and software to carry out daily sales, reporting, and account management tasks efficiently.
Keeps up to date with product knowledge, services offered, and competitor developments to support effective sales and customer engagement.
Assists with the training and support of junior sales staff where required.
