25 hours per week (term-time only)
Schedule: Breakfast Club: 7:45am-8:45am After School Club: 3:15pm - 6:00pm
Location: Great Bentley Primary School, Great Bentley, Colchester, CO7 8LD
Our Wraparound club at Great Bentley Primary School is looking for a confident and caring Venue Lead to oversee both clubs from January.
This is a term time role (25 hours per week), ideal for someone who enjoys leading a small team, building relationships with children and parents, and creating a warm, welcoming environment before and after school.
What You’ll Do:
Create a fun, inclusive, and welcoming environment before and after school
Lead and supervise a small team delivering high-quality wraparound care
Plan and run engaging, age-appropriate activities for children
Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety, and admin tasks are completed to a high standard
Build great relationships with children, parents, and school staff
What We’re Looking For:
Level 2+ qualification in Childcare, Playwork, or similar (or equivalent experience)
Experience working with primary-aged children in schools or clubs
Leadership or supervisory experience
Strong safeguarding knowledge and basic IT skills
