About the employer:
Our client is young lady that lives in the Redcar area who is looking to recruit a Personal Assistant to provide support for 14 hours per week.
What you’ll be doing
A typical week could involve:
Social duties
Keep in touch and socialise with family and friends
Support to access the local community
Attend medical appointments
Domestic duties: Support with grocery shopping and household chores.
Every day is different—so flexibility and a positive attitude go a long way!
Who we are looking for:
Values: Someone that is honest, reliable, punctual, non-judgemental, ability to build good relationships based on trust and respect, flexible, adaptable, easy going, able to work alone, positive, willingness to travel and understands equality & diversity.
Specific requirements: Someone with previous support worker experience. Someone that has supported young individuals with mental health issues previously.
Other: Due to the nature of this role including personal care the potential employer will be considering female applicants only.
Hours of work: 14 hours per week – times to be discussed at interview.
Rate of pay: £12.21 per hour
Skills, qualifications, and experience
Essential:
Full UK driving licence
Car and appropriate insurance
Previous support worker experience
Interest in Music and Formula1
Confidentiality
Good at building relationships
Computer literate
Good communicator
A good listener
Successful applicants will require DBS checks & Employment References.
This role is funded by the Local Authority and is paid 4 weekly.
