The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils' learning and development. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing focused support to an individual pupil or a small group of up to six pupils

Supporting the class teacher during lessons and learning activities

Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress and any concerns

Supervising pupils during non-classroom times, including trips and extracurricular activities

Assisting with lesson planning, classroom preparation and marking where appropriate

Helping to create positive relationships that encourage engagement and achievement

About You
We are looking for someone who brings:

A strong basic education, ideally to A-level, with GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above) in English and Maths

Previous experience in a Teaching Assistant or similar role

Experience supporting pupils with SEMH needs in an educational setting

Confidence to take on additional responsibilities within the school (e.g. Forest School, Food Hygiene, Yoga, Lunchtime provision)
