We’re looking for a proactive Finance Support Officer to join our team! You will play a key role in supporting month-end financial processes, producing accurate invoices, and collaborating with operational and commercial teams to drive financial performance. You’ll use SAP and Excel to manage accruals and financial data, while ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
What you will do:Continuously develop your skills and knowledge, including participating in required training courses.
Maintain excellent relationships with clients and customers.
Attend huddles, team meetings, and performance development reviews to discuss standards and development activities.
Care for all available resources, including equipment, materials, and supplies.
Report near-misses, accidents, or faulty equipment to management promptly.
Communicate effectively with line managers, the team, and client organisations.
Ensure all areas of responsibility are maintained to set service standards and in line with applicable service offers.
Process all information with discretion and confidentiality, complying with data protection and security requirements.
Essential:
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent Excel skills.
Ability to build relationships at all levels, internally and externally.
Desirable:
Experience working within government or public sector.
Knowledge of SAP.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
Working towards an accounting qualification.
