Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Work Officer (ASW - Social Work Officer PO1) to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
Provide direct support and counseling to individuals, families, and groups facing social challenges.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and government agencies to coordinate services for clients.
Develop and implement community programs aimed at prevention, intervention, and support for at-risk populations.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records and documentation in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
Conduct outreach and facilitate workshops to educate the community about available resources and social services.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of intervention plans, making adjustments as needed to enhance client outcomes.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work or a related field from an accredited institution.
Valid social work license or certification in the relevant jurisdiction.
Proven experience in social work practice, preferably in a community or clinical setting.
Strong understanding of social welfare policies, practices, and services.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple cases and prioritize workload effectively.
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions.
Hours Per Week: 36.00
