What skills and experience we're looking for
We would like someone who will:
• Be an ambitious and experienced Headteacher and relish the opportunity to further develop and sustain a creative, forward-thinking and inclusive learning culture for all across our school.
• Be a friendly, approachable, proactive and inspirational leader who can share and clearly communicate their ambitions for the long-term future and development of the school, bringing new perspectives and initiatives and build upon our strengths.
• Be a positive role model and reflective practitioner, with the ability to motivate children and staff alike, inspiring all to reach their full potential, whilst engaging and encouraging the appetite for learning within the whole school community, with sensitivity and understanding.
• Further a culture of collaboration and personal development with high regard for staff support, wellbeing, professional development and resilience.
• Have a strong business and financial understanding and work collaboratively with our Business Manager and Governors to maintain our secure financial position while continuing to provide exceptional opportunities to our pupils.
• Work with our committed staff team to ensure we continue to strive for, maintain and look to improve the already high standards, as recognised in our recent OFSTED inspection, and further empower our middle and senior leaders to build upon the broad curriculum already in place.
• Value every child, putting them at the heart of all you do, and strive to ensure that both pupils and staff have high aspirations for achievement.
Our children would like you to be someone:
• Fun, positive and loving
• Hardworking, confident and experienced
• Firm but fair, with polite manners
• Respectful, wise and able to give good advice
• Thoughtful and a good listener
