Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 am - 5:00 pm
Pay Rate: £21.00 - £24.00 per hour
We are seeking a skilled professional to join the maintenance team of a leading housing association, working on a variety of tasks including responsive repairs, void works, property MOTs, and specialist trade duties. This role also involves carrying out essential damp and mould repairs, ensuring properties are safe, healthy, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out damp and mould treatments in occupied residential properties as part of planned and reactive maintenance programmes.
- Identifying and diagnosing the root causes of damp, condensation, and mould, and recommending and implementing effective remedial solutions.
- Applying specialist treatments such as anti-fungal washes, mould-resistant paints, and protective coatings.
- Performing minor repair works, including plastering, painting, and decorating to restore treated areas to a high standard.
- Using PDA and/or job tickets correctly, completely, and in real-time to track job status.
- Maintaining and regularly replenishing an impressive stock of materials, including recording usage on the PDA.
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (manual)
