We are looking for a Functional Skills English Tutor to join us at HMP Dovegate
- a Category B adult male facility near Uttoxeter, Staffordshire where we care for up to 1160 male adult prisoners over the age of 21 serving a range of sentences including trial, remand, those awaiting sentence and convicted men serving long and short-term sentences. What I need to do the role?

- Level 3 Award in Education and Training (QCF)
- Level 3
- subject specialism
- Have proven experience of working in an environment that demands strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
- Have demonstrated flexibility and the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.
- Recent experience and appropriate knowledge.
- Experience of a custodial environment would be an advantage
- Experience of working with learners from non-traditional backgrounds
- Good technical knowledge and skills
