We are hiring TWO empathetic and dynamic Housing Navigators to join a leading homelessness charity right here in Derby!
This is a fulfilling, full-time role (35 hours) where you empower people living in supported housing to unlock their strengths and build a brighter future.
Your Mission:
**As a Housing Navigator, your goal is to inspire and empower. You won't just solve problems; you'll help people build solutions using an 'Advantaged Thinking' approach.
**Be a Champion: Work alongside residents, many of whom have experienced trauma, to identify their talents and set them on a path to greater independence.
**Relationship Builder: Form strong, trusting relationships with residents and act as their advocate with external agencies (health, social care, landlords).
**Holistic Support: Support residents with key aspects of housing management, life skills development, and successfully moving on to their own secure home.
**Team Player: Work as part of a high-quality, compassionate team, while also confidently handling lone-working duties.
Perks that support you:
** 25 days annual leave + your Birthday off every year!
** Access to the Smart Health App (online GP, nutritional advice, mental health support).
** Regular treats, long service rewards, and annual achievement celebrations.
Note: Due to the nature of the role, a full driving licence and use of your own car is essential. The post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
If you are a proactive, self-motivated team player with exceptional communication skills, please contact me at High5 Recruitment on 07516 020554 or email your CV using reference WE/002
Thank you
