Crynodeb

Rosetta Arts is seeking two passionate, trainee visual arts facilitators to join our freelance team for THRIVE. Through THRIVE, we will work with schools and cultural partners to deliver new arts-led Science and History curricula, and a creative careers programme for year 5 pupils in Newham. THRIVE will be delivered by Rosetta Arts, in partnership with Eko Trust, Contemporary Visual Arts Network London (CVAN London), and Newham Council’s Heritage Service.

The Trainee Facilitator will work alongside the Lead Facilitator in both the design and delivery of this exciting project. One Trainee will focus on supporting co-creation and delivery of the History curriculum and the other will do the same for Science. Both Trainees will work on supporting the creative careers programme. You will be working alongside experienced artists, teachers and will receive support from the Rosetta Arts team.

This is a formative role that gives you practical experience to learn and build knowledge and skills to work within the participatory arts sector. We encourage artists of any age to apply who are emerging practitioners looking to develop skills in designing inclusive arts curricula, facilitating arts workshops in schools, and working with diverse groups of children including those with SEND and EAL. We are looking for people with a commitment to collaboration, empathy, and inclusive practice.

You will receive training in Youth Mental Health First Aid and Safeguarding.
