Hours: Part-time, minimum 2 days per week
Contract: Associate / sessional
DBS: Enhanced DBS required

Job Summary

Intersectionality Women’s Programmes CIC is seeking an experienced Employability Skills Tutor to deliver accredited employability and essential skills training to adult women from diverse and intersectional backgrounds.

The role involves delivering engaging group sessions, supporting learner progression, and maintaining accurate learner records in line with awarding body and centre requirements.

Key Duties

- Deliver employability skills sessions (CV writing, interview skills, job search, digital skills)
- Carry out initial assessments, progress reviews, and learner action planning
- Support learners to progress into employment, education, or volunteering
- Complete assessments and learner documentation in line with awarding body requirements
- Promote equality, safeguarding, wellbeing, and inclusion within all sessions
- Work collaboratively within a small, supportive team

Essential Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience delivering employability or vocational training to adults
Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or equivalent)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Experience supporting learners with barriers to learning or employment
Commitment to equality, diversity, and trauma-informed practice
Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check

Desirable (but not essential)

Experience delivering Employability Skills up to Level 2
Assessor qualification (A1 / TAQA)
Experience with online or blended delivery
IAG qualification
