About the Role
In this unique and rewarding position, you will:
- Work with a small group of 5-6 SEMH pupils, delivering engaging and tailored lessons.
- Teach both on-site at the school and off-site, taking pupils into the community to deliver learning outside the traditional classroom environment.
- Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils who may present challenging behaviours.
- Provide structure, encouragement, and consistency to help pupils re-engage with their learning.
- Work closely with the school's leadership team and support staff to ensure the best outcomes for every student.
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
- A qualified teacher OR a strong, experienced TA/mentor confident delivering planned work.
- Resilient, hands-on, and not afraid to get stuck in.
- Comfortable supporting pupils with SEMH needs and managing challenging behaviours.
- Able to adapt lessons creatively for off-site and outdoor learning environments.
- Patient, nurturing, and committed to helping young people succeed.
