Summary
Position: Psychology Graduate TA
Location: Manchester (M13)
Hours: 8:30am-4pm
Pay: £95-£105 per day, depending on experience
Start date: 05/01/2026
Prospero Teaching are currently working with a primary pupil referral unit, to recruit recent psychology graduates, to join their team in January. The school supports pupils aged between 7-11, with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
As a Psychology Graduate TA, you will:
- Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, building strong relationships
- Collaborate with other staff members and external agencies to implement strategies
- Offer both academic and emotional mentoring to pupils, contributing towards an inclusive and positive learning environment
What We Are Looking For:
- Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
- Team Teach Level 2 is highly desired (training can be provided if needed)
- Previous experience within a mentoring or youth work position, supporting challenging behaviour
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
- Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
