- Weekly Rate: £460 - £500
- Start Date: 05/01/2026
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm (Term Time Only)
- Contract: Long Term to Permanent
Long Term Futures are searching for a nurturing, caring, and patient SEN Teaching Assistant to work with one of our partner mainstream primary schools in central Coventry.
This is a 1:1 role supporting a Reception child diagnosed with ASD, based within a specialist, well-equipped resource hub within the school.
You will be working alongside a supportive team of Teaching Assistants and an experienced SEN Teacher. The role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become a permanent position at the school.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Level 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification or a relevant equivalent
- Strong experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis
- Experience supporting SEN, particularly ASD, Speech, Language and Communication Needs
- Ability to work well as part of a team and follow the direction of the class teacher
- Knowledge of maintaining, updating and reviewing EHCPs
- Knowledge of the UK EYFS Primary Curriculum
