Summary

Location: CH5 2NU, North Wales
Salary: £85,000 + Profit Share
Hours: Mon–Thu 07:30–16:15, Fri 07:00–13:30

One of the UK’s leading manufacturers is seeking an experienced Head of Production to lead operations and deliver world-class manufacturing standards at their North Wales facility.

The Role

- Full leadership responsibility for site operations and 50 employees
- Drive Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards
- Manage operational budgets and collaborate with Finance
- Shape supply chain strategy and lead change management

Skills & Experience

- Senior-level manufacturing leadership (e.g., Operations Manager, Plant Manager, Factory Manager, Production Director)
- Strong knowledge of modern production and packaging processes
- Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, problem-solving, and process improvement
- Commercially astute with excellent analytical and decision-making skills
- Exceptional communication and people management abilities
- Experience in construction or manufacturing environments essential
