About the Opportunity

This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Optical Assistant or Assistant Manager to step into a key leadership role within a forward-thinking, community-focused practice in the heart of Congleton.

The Role

As Optical Assistant Manager, you'll play a central role in the day-to-day running of the practice, supporting both the clinical and retail sides of the business while leading by example on the shop floor.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Directors with the smooth, efficient running of the practice
  • Leading, motivating, and developing the wider team
  • Delivering an outstanding, personalised patient experience
  • Managing diaries, workflows, and day-to-day operations
  • Supporting dispensing, pre-screening, and customer journeys
  • Acting as a key point of contact for patients and colleagues alike
About You

This role would suit someone who:

  • Has experience as a Senior Optical Assistant or Assistant Manager in the optical industry
  • Is confident leading a team and supporting others to perform at their best
  • Takes pride in delivering exceptional patient care
  • Enjoys working in a close-knit, community-based environment
  • Is organised, proactive, and commercially aware
  • Is looking for a long-term role within a supportive, progressive practice
