Hours: 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Parts Manager / Parts Supervisor / Head of Parts to oversee the complete parts supply function within our site. The successful candidate will ensure parts are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in line with approved supplier agreements, while supporting operational performance, quality standards, and profitability.

Responsibilities for a Parts Manager / Parts Supervisor / Head of Parts:

• Manage the end-to-end parts supply process, ensuring all parts are sourced quickly, cost-effectively, and in line with approved supplier agreements.
• Oversee daily parts ordering, deliveries, and returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with job requirements to BSI standards.
• Control parts availability, lead times, and ETAs, keeping the workshop informed of delays, shortages, and alternative options.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and storage, including regular stock checks and ensuring parts and consumables are securely and well organised.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to secure competitive pricing, resolve issues, and improve service levels.
• Monitor parts margins, discounts, and surcharges to support site profitability and overall commercial performance.

Skills and Qualifications for a Parts Manager / Parts Supervisor / Head of Parts:

• Proven experience in a Parts Manager / Parts Supervisor / Head of Parts / Senior Parts Advisor, or equivalent role, ideally within an automotive bodyshop, accident repair centre, or vehicle repair environment.
• Demonstrable experience managing the end-to-end parts supply process, including ordering, returns, credits, and supplier negotiations.
• Strong background in stock control, inventory accuracy, and parts logistics, with experience conducting regular stock checks.
• Experience working with approved supplier agreements and managing costs, margins, and parts profitability.
• Working knowledge of standards and their impact on parts sourcing and compliance (or similar industry standards).
• Confident use of parts and estimating systems such as Audatex or equivalent platforms.
