About the Opportunity

Manage capital equipment sales with revolutionary surgical technology, develop key reference centres, and deliver clinical evaluations across South England. Join a team with exceptional retention (average tenure 10-25 years) and an unbroken decade-long track record of hitting targets.The RoleAs a Digital Microscopy Sales Specialist, you'll develop and deliver sales for the division in line with the company sales plan. Working across South England (Birmingham downwards), you'll deliver clinical evaluations, assist with the development of key reference centres, and develop opportunities during trials to 'sell the whole portfolio', enabling unique customer-centred solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver sales in line with the company's sales plan
  • Deliver clinical evaluations across South England
  • Assist with the development of key reference centres
  • Develop opportunities during trials to 'sell the whole portfolio', enabling unique customer-centred solutions
  • Provide insights to support sales and marketing campaign strategies
  • Keep accurate opportunities and trial records via Salesforce
  • Keep ahead of developments and trends within microscopy to supply accurate information for consideration in forecasting and budget proposals
  • Establish and maintain effective communications with all levels of staff within the Company

The Ideal Candidate

Essential:

  • Medical Device Capital Equipment Sales
  • Sales experience within the theatre environment, selling technical products at all levels
  • Proven sales track record in theatre products
  • Expert sales experience in capital equipment into the NHS
  • Strong knowledge of NHS and private hospital buying processes
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology
  • Both technical and relationship selling skills using consultative techniques
  • Team player who thrives in collaborative environments
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally/internationally

Highly Desirable:

  • Experience with microscopy, robotics or advanced surgical equipment
  • Neurosurgery experience
  • Strong surgeon relationships across the UK
