The Learner Development Service has an exciting opportunity to join a student focussed team at the University of South Wales. The Service consists of teams of Learner Development Specialists and Specialist Study Skills Tutors, and employs students to deliver peer support. The post provides an opportunity to work closely with other Professional Services, such as Library, Careers, and Disability services, and Faculty and HR colleagues.

Based at Pontypridd, this is a pivotal role within the Learner Development Service working within the following key areas: Operational and administrative support; Data & reporting; Within a student-facing service delivery.

The Business Support Officer, therefore, needs to be well organized, flexible and adaptable with the ability to take on varied tasks and manage these tasks whilst meeting deadlines. The Service is a student facing one, and learner’s needs are at the forefront of everything we do. We are looking for someone to join us who is friendly, dependable and resourceful.

This is a part-time, fixed term post for 12 months.
