You’ll help us make health happen by:
Reporting directly to the Centre Manager, you will work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team within the clinic. Our environment can be fast-paced and demanding, so you’ll need to demonstrate efficiency, adaptability, and sensitivity when working in a diverse and complex setting.
In this role, you will deliver a high-quality breast screening service, performing examinations in line with departmental policies and procedures and the requirements of referring physicians. You will accurately analyse acquired data, record results, and produce clear, high-quality images for reporting. Using advanced Pristina technology—designed to enhance patient experience throughout the breast care pathway from screening and diagnosis to treatment planning and monitoring—you will play a key role in improving the customer journey. By conducting screenings on-site during health assessments, you’ll ensure patients receive a fast, efficient service from screening through to treatment.
Throughout your work, you will maintain the highest standards of patient care. You’ll demonstrate flexibility in sharing tasks to deliver exceptional service and foster strong working relationships across the team.
You’ll help us make health happen by:
Improve our customer journey by carrying out the screenings on-site on the day of health assessments, ensuring patient have a fast and efficient service from screening to treatment.
Show flexibility of shared tasks to ensure that we provide the best quality service and establishing good working relationships.
The department can be extremely busy, and you must be able to work with efficiency in a complex environment and have an adaptability and sensitivity to work in a diverse working environment.
Organise the daily work programme to ensure that the department runs efficiently.
Perform high quality examinations as required by referring physicians according to departmental policies and procedures.
Ensure all equipment within the department is cared for and maintained, cleanliness is upheld and that all equipment faults are reported immediately.
Maintain the efficient use of all resources, establish stock control systems and liaise with manufacturers and suppliers.
Key Skills:
A flexible and adaptive working attitude is crucial.
Use your own initiative in responding to the needs of the service and have a strong focus on streamlining the patient pathway through the imaging department.
Work closely with the Lead Mammographer to maintain and enhance the Breast imaging service we offer to our patients and stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications:
BSc or DCR in Radiography ( essential)
Post Graduate Certificate in Mammography ( essential)
HCPC Registered ( essential)
