Under new Leadership and part of the hugely successful London South East Academies Trust, Acre Wood Academy are recruiting for a committed, empathetic and collaborative teaching assistants to work within the Primary or Secondary Phase. This is a fantastic opportunity to join Acre Wood and be part of their future success story. Acre Wood is a specialist school for pupils aged 4-19 with a wide range of special education needs, including Profound and Multiple learning Difficulties (PMLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) and Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The school is set across three sites (primary, secondary and sixth form) located closely together in Crowborough, East Sussex. If you are empathetic, kind, motivated and passionate and committed to supporting children and young people with special education needs to reach their full potential this is an excellent opportunity for you to join our established team of teachers and support staff. The successful candidates will be passionate about special education and committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment where all pupils can achieve and fulfil their potential. Interest is welcomed from candidates with a either a background in SEND or those from a mainstream primary background passionate about for working with pupils with special educational needs. A full induction training programme will be provided along with continued CPD and career progression opportunities for those wishing to develop a SEND career both within the school and within London South East Academies Trust.
