The Role
Link is seeking a Factoring Supervisor (Income) to lead and motivate a small team of administrators to implement C~urb’s established debt recovery procedure and factoring policy.

At Link, people are at the heart of everything we do. Our people have made our award-winning social enterprise the success it is today and as it continues to grow, we want them to be the best they can be and to reach their potential.

The Factoring Supervisor will liaise with debt collection agencies, First-tier Tribunals and Solicitors including Sheriff Court actions in relation to income recovery, within approved budget parameters.

Generating ideas for continuous improvement to procedures and service quality in monthly reports to the management team is required for this post, as is positive handling of customer communications and complaints.

The role involves working with C~urb’s two other Factoring Supervisors and wider team, reporting to the Factoring Coordinator and liaising with colleagues in Link Group including Finance, Digital and repairs services.

About You
The successful candidate will have excellent numerical skills to analyse factoring debt data to help plan the work of a small team of administrators.

You will have a proven track record in debt reduction, ideally but not necessarily within factoring along with the ability to prioritise and manage your own time and that of your team.

Having the ability to liaise with solicitors, debt collection agencies, First-tier Tribunals, and Sheriff Court actions supported by solicitors, in relation to debt, is essential for this role.

The role requires complaints handling experience, excellent written and verbal communication skills, negotiation and problem-solving skills and an understanding of factoring legislation.

Qualified to Further Education level, you will have the ability to use housing/factoring software, Microsoft, Excel and Outlook in the normal course of duties.

In return you will be offered the opportunity to enhance your skills and knowledge through employee training and development. You can expect to work in a supportive, trusting and transparent working environment, with the autonomy to offer creative and innovative solutions whilst maintaining Link’ s values; Responsibility, Empathy, Social Impact, Participate, Equality, Challenge and Transparency.
