The Council is seeking a highly self-motivated candidate to develop and manage a 10-year, £20 million Regeneration Plan as part of the Greater Carlton Plan for Neighbourhoods programme. The plan, developed with residents, local businesses, community groups and strategic organisations across Nottinghamshire, sits within the Government’s wider Pride in Place programme and sets out a clear roadmap to improve opportunity, strengthen community pride, and deliver long-term change for more than 53,000 residents.
The candidate will be responsible for supporting the plan’s Neighbourhood Board by overseeing a complex programme of projects and initiatives and for ensuring its successful delivery within agreed levels of time, budget and quality.
Candidates must have a proven track record in project management delivery and be able to work collaboratively whilst building and maintaining productive relationships and networks across organisational and professional boundaries.
The ideal candidate will have experience of working across a number of sectors and a knowledge of current policy and funding mechanisms. Candidates will be expected to have excellent communication and organisational skills and should be able to produce clear and concise business cases, reports and presentations for submission to the Greater Carlton Neighbourhood Board, Council, government agencies and key stakeholders.
