Summary
SEND support post
The current post is for a 1-1 support for a child with SEND, at St.Thomas Nursery. The child is happy and well settled in nursery, with good relationships with all staff and children. The job will include, working alongside the child, under the support and guidance of key person and SENCO. The role will be to support the child in all aspects of nursery life and to work on targets set on their Targeted Learning Plan, and EHCP when completed, to support his learning and development. The child is learning body sign and is using communication boards, PECs so an awareness of this would be useful but not essential. The child requires moving and handling, help with feeding and has a Physiotherapy plan, to support his physical development. The child is happy and easy going and a joy to be around, he deserves the best opportunities in life so we are looking for a caring and supportive colleague to help him in all aspects of nursery life.
